I originally come from São Paulo, Brazil. I have been in love with the game of backgammon since the age of eight. The boards I create are the expression of that love.

Why did I start making backgammon boards? It's simple. I never liked the look of the manufactured Boards. I want to create something special, a Board that I would not see any where else. Now I believe I achieved my goal. My Boards are not a mass-produced backgammon sets. Each board is absolutely one of a kind.

The Boards

Pieces: I always customized the checker for my Board, since the first one. At the beginning, I used to make checker by a mix of clay and ceramic like, after a while I decided to substitute it for resin. To make checker with resin seemed at that time very hard then I decided to buy the checker, but I found another problem, the limitation of colors and sizes. For this reason I insisted in making my own checkers and now I can create a specific checker for each of my Boards.

Handle: due to the limitation of colors from the manufactured handles, I also decided to start making the handle for each Board. Each one of my Boards has a handle that matches with the leather from their suitcase, making the whole set complete.

Dice Cup: it is also made entirely by hand using the same leather used in the handle and suitcase. Although it is handmade cup, all of them bring an internal lip.

Leather: High quality of leather from different countries such as United States, Brazil, Italy and Argentina.

Playing Surface: made of suede like, with the points painted by hand, this surface plays very nicely, the checkers slice smoothly over this surface. For those who likes to play later night, under the playing surface there is a flannel which diminishes the noise of the dice.
